When planning most events and Birthday Parties, it is always a good rule (most of the time) to schedule the entertainment prior to or at the end of food being served. The reason is because in most situation the food can be a distraction and hinder any audience participation. Kids also have a tendency to spill and drop things during eating. I always suggest starting with the Entertainment and follow it up with good eats!
